There are many direct selling companies in the world, and especially in Asia—but there is only one QNET. Would that there could be more of them: This company is truly a breath of fresh air in an industry that is often fraught with dishonesty. Indeed, a good many of Asia’s direct selling companies are disreputable, a problem worsened by the fact that regulations within this industry tend to be fairly lax. But QNET is something altogether different—a company founded on notions of service, responsibility, and empowerment.
Just how different is this company from the others in its industry? Well, how many other enterprises regularly cite Gandhi as a primary source of inspiration? This one does, but it also does more than just talk. It puts its lofty ideals into action day in and day out, both in its treatment of customers and in its own internal company culture.
But what are these ideals, exactly—and what are the specific things that this company has done to separate itself from all of its competitors? In our review, will we discuss the company’s history, its values, its product and service offerings, and much more. Ultimately, we will argue simply this: That QNET is a uniquely prominent, respectable company, and that its zeal to empower others and make a positive impact in the world is not only real, but quite admirable.

QNET | Excellence in Direct Selling

Before turning to the company’s values and ambitions, it is helpful to make a few general remarks about the business itself. The company was founded fairly recently—in 1998, anyway—by a group of entrepreneurs whose core concern was to empower others. Basing a company on something so evasive may have seemed like a big risk, at the time, but of course, time has proven the company to be nothing if not wildly successful.
Indeed, the company stands today as one of the foremost wellness and lifestyle companies in the world. It is also a leader in the crowded and competitive field of Asian direct selling companies. It relies upon a global network of distributors to market its portfolio of exclusive, high-end lifestyle products, health supplements, and more.
It is among the world’s fastest-growing shopping communities. Currently, it boasts somewhere in the range of six million customers and independent distributors. And again, though the company is rooted in Asia, it is also truly global; its customers span more than 100 countries, its employees more than 30.
QNET boasts millions of happy customers, and it also boasts a number of online shopping portals, packed with high-quality products. It boasts a customer support center that has received numerous awards, and which offers support in 27 different languages. Most fundamentally, perhaps, the company boasts a reputation for integrity and excellence, in an industry that is often marred with mistrust.
All of these facts and figures set the scene—but what really gives the company its identity, its mission? There are two acronyms that the company holds dear. For one, QNET is founded on what it called the RYTHM philosophy. This stands for Raise Yourself to Help Mankind.
This statement is essentially one of empowerment. The company earnestly believes in its global direct selling opportunities as essential ways in which it can help others to raise themselves up. Indeed, many entrepreneurs have gone on to succeed, building from the foundation received from QNET.
The RYTHM acronym is one example of the company’s collective indebtedness to the teachings of Gandhi. We have already made mention of the company’s rooting in these principles, but it is worth reiterating that the great humanitarian and activist is something of an icon to the folks at QNET. They believe, quite simply, that empowering others to succeed is a central concern for their own corporate success.
There is another acronym to which this company holds, as well. It is STIR, and it appropriately summarizes the business’ core values. The STIR acronym can be summarized as follows:
 The S stands for service. Here again, we could point to the obvious influence of Gandhi. The company is devoted to the notion of serving others through all of its daily business operations.
 Next comes T, which is for teamwork. All of the distributors at QNET are working together toward a shared goal. This singularity of focus is what gives the company so much of its success, its forward momentum.
 The I stands for integrity. The company conducts itself with total honesty and transparency, offering candor to clients and distributors alike. This helps set it apart from so many of the less-reputable companies in this industry.
 Finally, there is R, which denotes that the company is results-oriented. Simply put, it seeks to deliver at the highest level possible, both in terms of its business and in terms of its philanthropic activities.
All of these values shape the company, give it direction, and ultimately provide it with its identity. What they all point to, though, is that the company is people-oriented. Here again, this distinguishes the company from so many of its competitors. It knows that its greatest assets are the people on its team, and the collective purpose and drive of the QNET distributors are really key to its power.
All of these components are important, but it is also good to review some of the more practical dimensions of the company. For example, what kinds of products do its distributors sell? We have already noted that it focuses primarily on lifestyle products; and, that it offers an exclusive line-up of everyday brands as well as more high-end, luxury goods. These products span the categories of leisure, wellness, telecommunications, home care, personal care, nutrition, and beyond. The products are all designed to improve lives—plain and simple. To get a better feel for the company’s product lineup, the best place to head is to the QNET Facebook page, which is regularly updated with new offers and promotions.

More could be said about the company and its reputation. We keep referencing the fact that the business is based in an industry not necessarily known for its integrity or for its honesty—but clearly, QNET is different. It is proud to have won numerous awards, and to maintain memberships with a number of prestigious organizations. A few examples include:
 The company was awarded with the Caring Company Logo by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service.
 It is a member of the Direct Selling Associations of Malaysia, Singapore, and Philippines.
 It is a member of the Hong Kong Food Association.
 It is also a member of the Health Supplements Industry Association of Singapore.
Also of note is the fact that QNET is heavily involved in charitable and philanthropic work. Given its allegiance to the teachings of Gandhi, this probably comes as no great surprise. Indeed, the list of charities that the company supports is simply too large to fit into this review. With that said, we might note that the company is especially intent on promoting entrepreneurships around the world, and in emerging economies in particular. In keeping with its vision of empowerment, it seeks to help individuals in these countries turn their lives around.
The company is equally zealous for building its own brand through corporate sponsorship. A great example is its current work with Formula 1. The company is seeking to establish a sponsorship that will bring it far greater visibility—something that could surely prove a boon to its distributors and employees!
As our review winds down, we will make just a couple of further points about this unique company. One especially important note is that the company believes very much in the importance of training. Indeed, the development of its distributors is an utmost concern for the company, as it wants to ensure that each of these distributors has the product knowledge to avoid misrepresentation, and the skills to advance their own careers.
A final note that we might make is that the company is also supportive of e-learning. It believes online education to be a powerful tool for bringing about cultural improvement and personal empowerment. This is especially true in the Middle East where e-learning is a growing trend, and where QNET is particularly visible and vocal.
Clearly, this is a company that is active in the world—particularly Asia—in a good many ways. It makes a difference in local communities; it makes a difference in the lives of its customers, and also in the lives of its distributors. For any other company, claims like these might seem a bit bewildering, yet it is clear that this company is the real deal.
In other words, it is a legitimate and respectable company in an industry not necessarily known for these qualities. This alone makes it something special, and something worth celebrating. As such, we end our QNET review with an unreserved recommendation for this company and all that it has to offer!
